Ink Spots vocal group had its origin in Indianapolis in the early 1930’s and appeared regularly on WLW, Cincinnati. The group bolted to national popularity with their recording of the ballad “If I Didn’t Care” in 1939. Between 1940 and 1949 The Ink Spots had well over 30 hits on the pop charts.
